The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it is actually alarmed with regard to the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration sassa Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance place made for intervention encounters a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and improve use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
