The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed regarding the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance issue established for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out sassa status check programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing sassa status check of all customers and sassa maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
